Unable to set icon for custom shortcuts

Environment

Ubuntu 23.04

Bug description

Under shortcuts tab in the main system settings there is the option to create custom shortcuts.

When adding a new shortcut it gives the option to select an image, however the image is not accepted and stays on the default.

I have tried multiple images in multiple formats, even build in system icons don't work.

I have this same issue - some additional information from my own system: I have 13 custom shortcuts already configured with working icons. Trying to add 2 more and those are the ones that produce the same result as stated above. I don't know if perhaps the number is configured and its running up against a limit.

I have the same issue on openSuse Leap 15.5, ULauncher 5.15.6.

Workaround: edit ~/.config/ulauncher/shortcuts.json and set the "icon" value for your shortcut to an image file path.
