Thank you for the quick response as usual. Did not catch of course the config file location change so that threw things off, then I think additional instabilities in hardware were exposed as well that have been solved by a bios update and removing a stick of ram out of two recently added. I've since rolled back to 1.12.1, retuned my config, forward to 0.13, and then forward to the 0.14 beta after reading another thread that seemed to have relevance to issues I've long experienced and still experienced until the latest move to stable - during busy periods recordings seem to be lost but generally speaking the snapshots have been there. My cache is 4 GB, my shm is 2 GB, I ran two RAID 0 arrays merged together via a logical volume. Disk IO for the video partition exceeds 600MB/sec. 48 Gigs ram, Gen 13 i7-13700K, one then two Nvidia 1070 GPUs, Intel iGPU...so should have been able to keep up with things.

First run with 0.13 dropped segments were noted in logs and cameras would subsequently drop out, 2nd run this was gone and during busy daytime hours no recordings seemed to be missing.

I've stuck with stock 0.13/0.14 as well, no adding the components needed for QSV to work. With the addition of the 2nd GPU (before the 2nd attempt with 0.13) I've been able to migrate all the cameras away from using QSV or VAAPI. I run neolink for some of the reolink cameras as well, was running on my ancient but beastly 1U dual Xenon server but moved it over to the host for Frigate. It makes use of QSV/VAAPI now in restreaming the feeds from some of the Reolink cams that otherwise don't play well enough.

Any chance you'd bring back the old 1.12.1 Birdseye view to 0.14? The new UI is too heavy for the old machines I use as monitors for the cameras with birdseye view and it would pop in and pop out cameras that detected motion - not showing all/some cameras regardless of motion. So it was perfect at that point in time - all I need is a quick view of cameras. Just want the backend improvements present in 0.13/0.14 as well.

Birdseye is still available in 0.14, add a camera group and select Birdseye as one of the cameras.

you can also open directly to birdseye if desired frigate_ip:port#birdseye

Any way I can get the birdseye view to fill the whole screen with the active cameras?
