Is your feature request related to a problem?

When I want to collaborate with my peers, I just want to know what is changed in the diagram. With my current understanding, there is no such feature in Gaphor.

Describe the solution you'd like

Currently, I simply use Kdiff3 to compare the previously saved raw file with latest one from my peer with his work to check the difference.
I would also suggest new feature request in Gaphor Creating baseline & comparing them

  • Create baseline button - saves the current file as with baseline id in the local machine.
  • Baseline comparison - compares the current saved version with previous baseline in raw format using Kdiff3 and redraw the specific older version and current version in split window.

Describe alternatives you've considered

Using draw.io with GitHub integration, which does not exact change but it shows which diagram is changed with comparison.

Additional context

I found this #2750 issue id of displaying UID of the diagram which also help for this case.

Example from Altium version control: Something like this but simpler one

Hi,

Gaphor already has a feature to resolve Git merge conflicts. I suppose we can use that as well to see changes in the model.
