OpenDataCam at ML Con Berlin 2023

I'm happy to announce that I will be covering OpenDataCam at ML Con in Berlin 🙌

The session is called "Hidden in plain sight: Innovation and Ethics with Computer Vision and AI in IoT and beyond" and I will quickly share new opportunities that come from computer vision and "smart" cameras such as OpenDataCam. Full description and details on how to attend below:

"A picture says more than 1000 words". Pictures and Videos are a big part of Internet traffic, they drive engagement in our social networks and are being used more and more in IoT deployments.

Yet, discovery and extraction of data points in video and pictures is still mostly relying on meta data, or the human eye. Both methods are often inacurate or not scalable, leaving a treasure trove of information to be found in videos and pictures. However, recent developments in computer vision and AI, allow us to analyze videos and pictures accurately and scalably, unlocking the potenital and power of video for many use cases.

In this session I want to highlight important technologies in the field of computer vision, including novel approaches to maximize privacy in camera deployments, such as anonymous traffic counting using OpenDataCam.
